Q: Emailing new people asking them to update info

A: This option is handy for quickly adding one ore more people to your contact manager without having to manually enter them one by one. You will need to already have either one email address or multiple email addresses to start. First select one or more groups to assign to these new contacts. After selecting the last option (New people for whom you have an email address but are not yet in your contact list, asking them to update their info), click on Continue. The next screen will display a large text box where you can type in your emails or cut and paste them into this box from another source. Make sure to separate each email address by either a comma or a semicolon. Below this text box is an email form with a suggested email you can use to request that your recipients click on a link to update your address book. You can personalize the email further by using fields like {FirstName}, {LastName}, etc, or you can leave it as is. When you click continue, you will be able to preview the list of people to be emailed, as well as preview the email message itself. Keep in mind that after you submit this form and email your list, these contacts are added to your contact manager and assigned to the groups you selected even if your contacts never update their address book as requested. This function saves you a great deal of time and helps to keep your contact list up to date with the latest information!
